Finlay Jude Associates are working with a respected organisation recognised for delivering major infrastructure projects across the water and wastewater sectors.
Our client is expanding their delivery team and is seeking a Construction Manager to support ongoing and upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage site construction teams across designated portfolios, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Facilitate construction kick off meetings and lead regular project health checks
• Oversee supplier performance in relation to safety, programme, and quality, including reviewing and approving RAMS
• Take the lead on Constructability Reviews, Project Rehearsals, and Fit for Assembly sign off, driving innovation and best practice
• Promote zero waste principles and support initiatives to reduce embodied carbon in construction activities
• Ensure site teams raise all required contractual and commercial notices in a timely manner
• Work with the Lead Construction Manager to plan and forecast short and long term resource requirements (labour, plant, materials)
• Ensure full Health & Safety compliance, fostering a culture where teams feel safe and empowered to raise concerns
• Support the implementation of standardised products and innovative construction techniques to maintain industry leading performance
• Monitor construction progress, ensuring alignment with programme, quality standards, and client expectations
• Provide accurate reporting to the Operations Manager, highlighting risks, opportunities, and resource needs
Construction Manager Requirements:
• Temporary Works experience or relevant qualification
• Strong project management background
• Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction related discipline
• APMP or equivalent project management certification
• Extensive experience delivering large scale construction programmes
• Experience within the water or wastewater treatment sector (desirable)
• Proven experience managing and monitoring project programmes
• Strong working knowledge of CDM regulations and construction Health & Safety
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and end users
• Delivery focused mindset with the ability to set and achieve performance targets
• Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate multi disciplinary teams to meet time, cost, and quality objectives
• Strong strategic, operational, technical, and managerial capability
• Commercially astute with sound judgement
