As a Security Officer with ISS, you will be at the forefront of creating a safe and secure environment. You will play a key role in protecting our colleagues, customers, and our client’s property, people, and assets through exemplary security operations.
Based in Dalkeith at a high-profile site within our Edinburgh Portfolio, this role requires a professional, proactive approach and the ability to work closely with ISS colleagues and local site management at all levels.
The Role
Always ensure the safety and security of the site and all personnel
Maintain a high level of vigilance and identify any suspicious activity
Prevent unauthorised access in line with site procedures
Access control in accordance with site processes
Monitor CCTV systems within a control room environment
Conduct patrols as required or in line with Assignment Instructions (AIs)
Create a positive, professional relationship with customers and colleagues
Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and ensure any breaches are reported
Work as part of a team and on your own depending on site requirements
About You
Holds a valid SIA Licence
Able to successfully undergo BS7858 screening
Computer literate and comfortable using Microsoft Windows and Office applications
Proactive, forward-thinking, and adaptable to change
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
