Crynodeb
To provide strong leadership and vision to the team maintaining robust quality assurance to enable a high-quality service to be delivered.To direct and coordinate clinicians working in the SCM service and provide expert advice and guidance on the management of service users care.To liaise with local leaders and managers accordingly to ensure equity of clinical resource.To ensure appropriate governance of the service including for example; ensuring clinical records are kept in accordance with Trust Policies and Procedures, managing incidents and work with the appropriate quality team in relation to any complaints or untoward incidents.To hold line management responsibility for staff within the SCM team, including appraisals and sickness/absence in line with trust policies.To maintain systems for planning and allocation of work and for the setting and reviewing of targets, standards and priorities within the team.To ensure professional supervision systems are in place.To be responsible for recruitment of staff, including administrative staff, from initial advert to short-listing, interviewing and induction.To coordinate team meetings and disseminate relevant information on a timely basis.To attend appropriate other local or Trust wide meetings and feedback on these to the service.To develop and maintain active communication systems with relevant stakeholders from across the Trust particularly in the CERN pathways.To coordinate and report on any activity or performance data required by the Trust, including any KPIs or any other Quality Assurance Measures.To manage the room bookings and estates management, for the SCM team and group.To work in partnership with other statutory, independent sector and other agencies, in the effective discharge of the duties of the post and service.To ensure that all staff are appropriately trained to meet the requirements of their role and any issues with performance are addressed.To be a signatory for the team and ensure all financial procedures are administered according to the Trust Standing Financial Instructions.
