Crynodeb
The successful candidate will work as part of the ST1-2 rota in general paediatrics and neonatology. The doctor will form an integral part of the Paediatrics clinical rota through the provision of medical cover on the Paediatric wards and Neonatal unit. In addition, the successful applicant will be involved with the admission and assessment of Paediatric emergencies. There will be a middle grade specialty trainee to support tier 1 team. All the consultants do resident evening hours, and weekend/bank holidays day hrs followed by on-call non-resident hrs. The appointee will be expected to undertake regular ward rounds and seek senior advice when deemed appropriate.
