Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Head and Neck Department for an Apprentice Medical Secretary within the Dermatology team.
To provide a comprehensive typing and administrational service to members of the team in ordertoassistintheachievementofdepartmentalobjectives.Thepostholderwillworkclosely withtheteamtoensurethedeliveryofahighqualityservice.This willrequiretheutilisationof good typing, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills.
The successfulcandidate will undertake a level 3 business administration apprenticeship alongside their role. They will have one day per week protected study time to complete their assignments and attend classes with their tutor.
Reporting to the team leaders, the post holder will be involved with a wide range of duties including clinic typing, telephone enquiries, admin and non-admitted PTL.
The post holder must have the ability to organise and prioritise their workload effectively, and work on their own initiative.
Applicants must have excellent communication skills, an organised and methodical approach to their duties and enjoy a very driven secretarial role within the Head and Neck team.
