We are seeking a skilled Mobile Electrician to deliver electrical and building services maintenance across multiple client sites throughout Northern Ireland.

Job Description

This is a varied, hands-on role involving planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, installations, and ensuring all systems operate to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

You’ll be provided with an ISS van, mobile phone, and PDA, enabling you to work efficiently and professionally while representing the company on the road and on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical PPM, reactive and proactive maintenance, ensuring all work is completed within agreed timeframes.

Diagnose electrical faults, complete repairs, and undertake minor installations.

Perform building services maintenance, including basic mechanical, fabric, and HVAC-related tasks.

Respond to callouts as part of a rota, ensuring service continuity for clients.

Undertake contractor control duties, monitoring performance and issuing Permits to Work.

Ensure all electrical systems and equipment meet performance and safety standards.

Maintain clean and safe work areas, upholding company standards and client satisfaction.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Significant experience in reactive and planned maintenance within commercial or FM environments.

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

City & Guilds 2230 Level 3, NVQ 2356 / 2357, or City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation.

18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certification.

Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Qualifications:

City & Guilds 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing).

JIB accreditation, IPAF, or PASMA certification.

Recognised electrical apprenticeship.
