About Our Practice
We are a fully private dental practice specialising in Invisalign, composite bonding, facial aesthetics, and Hydrafacial treatments, located in a prime position just off Hornchurch High Street. We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional, high-end patient experience from the moment our patients contact us.
You’ll be joining a fun, young, and bubbly team that enjoys regular team events such as Sheesh nights and Ninja Warrior-style challenges.
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and professional Dental Receptionist with a strong dental background. This role is ideal for someone who understands dental workflows, terminology, and patient journeys, and who can confidently manage a busy reception in a private cosmetic and aesthetic practice. You will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a key role in maintaining our high standards of service.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and create an outstanding first impression
Check patients in and out efficiently and manage patient flow
Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling with clinical awareness
Answer incoming calls professionally, handling dental-related enquiries confidently
Maintain and update accurate patient records
Handle payments, invoices, and basic financial administration
Support treatment plan coordination and patient communications where required
Complete administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence
Ensure the reception area is tidy, welcoming, and compliant with health and safety standards
Support the team with additional administrative duties as required
Requirements (Essential)
Previous experience in a dental practice reception or dental nursing role (mandatory)
Strong understanding of dental procedures, terminology, and patient flow
Fluent in English with excellent spoken and written communication skills
Confident using dental practice management systems and scheduling software
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Professional, friendly, and patient-focused attitude
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Positive, flexible, and team-oriented mindset
