Why Work With Comforting Healthcare?
At Comforting Healthcare, we believe great care starts with valued carers. We’re a small, supportive care provider focused on quality, not quantity which means realistic rotas, proper support and time to care.
We support adults to live safely and independently in their own homes, delivering care that is compassionate, respectful and genuinely person-centred. Whether you’re experienced or new to care, if you have the right values, we want to hear from you.
The Role:
As a Support Worker, you’ll make a real difference every day by supporting individuals in their own homes. You’ll work independently in the community, with the reassurance of hands on management and ongoing support whenever you need it.
Full training is provided - we’ll support you to grow, not throw you in at the deep end.

- Supporting with daily living tasks such as personal care, meals, and medication reminders
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Supporting individuals with dementia or cognitive needs where required
- Following individual care plans and behaviour support strategies
- Recording care notes accurately and reporting any changes
- Working alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Always maintaining dignity, respect and safety
What We’re Looking For:
- A kind, patient and respectful approach
- Good communication skills and reliability
- Confidence working independently, with team support
- A genuine desire to help others live well
- Experience in care is welcome but not essential
- Knowledge of dementia or hospice care is a bonus
- Qualifications are appreciated but not required
What We Offer:
- Competitive pay above minimum wage
- Flexible shifts that work around your life
- Paid travel time between clients
- Company vehicle available (manual & automatic options)
- Free uniform & PPE
- Full training and ongoing development
- Blue Light Card discounts
- Supportive, approachable management - you can always reach us
- A workplace where you are respected, supported and appreciated
