Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for a Planogrammer to join an established POS/Retail Development company based in Leicester

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Planogrammer to join a fast-paced POS / Retail development environment.

The role plays a key part in delivering accurate, commercially effective on-shelf planogram solutions, supporting service levels, client expectations, and business growth.

The Planogrammer will work closely with the development team and wider business to ensure planograms are technically sound, aligned with brand guidelines, and suitable for production.

This is an office-based role with mild physical requirements.

The Job:

The Planogrammer will be responsible for:

• Interpreting briefs to create accurate planogram layouts for on-shelf and in-store POS solutions.
• Producing detailed planograms that adhere strictly to brand guidelines, briefs, and technical specifications.
• Modelling, positioning, and spacing products of various shapes, sizes, and formats accurately.
• Managing multiple projects and working to tight deadlines, highlighting risks and issues promptly.
• Providing clear, constructive feedback to internal teams based on brief requirements and feasibility.
• Maintaining a professional, honest, and respectful approach at all times.
• Collaborating with Planning, Workshop, Prototype, and Pre-Production teams to ensure planograms are practical, buildable, and commercially viable.
• Supporting continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and best practice.

The Person:

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• At least 2 years working experience of SolidWorks (or equivalent CAD software)
• Experience space planning retail products on to display equipment would be great
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload.
• Good reporting and documentation skills.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Confidence participating in client and internal meetings.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A methodical and organised approach to work with accurate record keeping.
• Good numeracy skills
