What skills and experience we're looking for

BruntcliffeAcademy isseekingto recruit to the role ofCover Supervisor. Our team of cover professionals support the smooth running of the academy by covering lessons for planned and unplanned teacher absences. Our Cover Supervisors teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 using supplied resources to ensure consistency in the quality of education we provide to our pupils.

We are looking for a professional with experience in working with young people, ideally in teaching or lesson cover. The ideal applicant will have the ability to work with pupils across a range of ages and in a variety of subject areas. The successful candidate will have the ability be flexible and resilient, holding high expectations whilst building positive relationships with our pupils.

Potential applicants should have:

• GCSE Grade C/4 and above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
• Experience of working with young people.
• Ability to adapt to different abilities, key stages, subjects and situations.
