Crynodeb
What you will do:You will work as part of a MDT and will be responsible for promoting high standards of nursing care which requires good communication to assist with the elective patient journey through the catheter labs and theatres. You will be caring for a range of patients undergoing a wide variety of procedures from admission, pre and post procedure care, GA recovery, and nurse led discharge. This will include cardiology, vascular, IR and thoracic patients and full training will be given in these specialities.The cardiac catheter lab and day unit is committed to education, and you will have the opportunity to attend the in-house Introduction to Cardiovascular Nursing course in addition to the opportunity to attend national conferences relating to Cardiology.What we are looking for:We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and ambitious nurses who have good initiative, great communication, enjoy change and expressing new ideas as well as delivering exemplary care.We would strongly recommend that you visit the department to gain a full understanding of the services we provide here for our patients.
