We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Officer to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Loughborough College.
The Leicestershire College are looking for an experienced Security Officer to join the Estates team in providing a flexible, efficient and effective security service at all times.
The post holder requires flexibility to work a rotational shift pattern.
Working 37.5 hours per week over 5 days. The shifts are rotated between the team, hours will be discussed at interview. Whilst your main days of work will be Monday-Friday, you will be required to work an occasional weekend to cover events such as open days.
Responsibilities of this role include;
To conduct security patrols across campus and college accommodation to deter potential threats
Complete detailed Incident reports and security logs on a daily basis
Monitoring and management of CCTV systems in line with all current GDPR
What we are looking for;
Possess a SIA Licence
Experience of security or locking down buildings on a large site
Proven experience of delivering excellent customer care and services in a large organisation
Possess or be willing to work towards a recognised First Aid Qualification
