Crynodeb

St David’s College is a thriving and oversubscribed Sixth Form College serving learners aged 16–19 across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. As an inclusive FE community, we are committed to developing the whole person—academically, personally, and spiritually.
Governors at St David’s College are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Assistant to join a small, high-performing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing ideas to life and wants to grow their skills in a supportive environment.
About the role
You will contribute to the planning and delivery of marketing activity across the College, helping the College communicate effectively with students, families, and the wider community. The ideal candidate will have experience in:
Managing social media platforms and websites
Creating engaging written, visual, and video content
Building positive working relationships across teams
Experience producing high-quality marketing materials is welcomed, and the ability to communicate in Welsh would be an advantage, but not essential. As part of the marketing team, the role will include supporting the college in enrolment and student recruitment activities.
What we offer
Salary: £27,993.86
A friendly and collaborative working environment
Excellent training and development opportunities
Health care cashback plan
Free on-site gym, parking, and breakfasts
On-site canteen
Access to wellbeing and prayer apps
Cycle to Work and Electric Vehicle salary sacrifice schemes
Additional information
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people, and all staff are expected to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check will be required. We are an Equal Opportunities employer, and applications submitted in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than applications in English.
Shortlisted candidates will complete an In Tray exercise as part of the selection process.
Please note that the College operates a Sixth Form College academic year, with the Autumn Term beginning in August to support enrolment activities. This is not a term-time-only role.
St David’s College reserves the right to close this vacancy early should we receive a high volume of applications. If you are interested in applying, we encourage you to do so promptly.
Closing Date: 8th Febuary
Interview Date: 13th Febuary
