About the Role We are looking for a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to support a young male with Severe Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (RDEB). This rare condition requires a high level of clinical awareness and a gentle, "hands-off" approach to protect the service user's fragile skin.
Key responsibilities include:

Nutritional Support: Managing all intake via Gastrostomy (PEG) feeding

Clinical Care: Administering nebulisers and assisting with specialized wound care and daily dressing changes.

Environment Monitoring: Ensuring a cool environment (below 15°C) to manage skin irritation and monitoring for new blisters.
Requirements for the Role: * An outgoing, bubbly personality with a commitment to high-quality support.

A minimum of 6 months of professional UK Care experience.

Previous experience with PEG feeding and Medication Administration is highly preferred.

Willingness to learn specialized skin integrity protocols.

Valid Right to Work and original DBS certificate.
