Crynodeb
This role supports the service in achieving high vaccination uptake within a safe, wellcoordinated environment. The postholder will work closely with schools, families, and other partners to arrange vaccination sessions and provide parents and carers with the information they need to give informed consent. Key Responsibilities The postholder will be expected, as a minimum, to: Create and maintain staff rotas, ensuring adequate staffing levels for all vaccination sessions and activities. Arrange community clinics and staff training, including booking suitable venues and liaising with schools, community organisations, and other agencies as required. Manage stock and resources, ensuring the timely ordering, delivery, and organisation of equipment. This includes maintaining an uptodate database of all clinical and nonclinical resources. Support the safe storage, transportation, and delivery of vaccines and equipment, including collecting and returning vaccines to designated storage areas and ensuring correct disposal of used clinical items. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all data, patient information, and records, in line with organisational and legal requirements. Skills and Attributes Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a wider team. Confidence to use initiative and sound judgement, including knowing when to seek guidance or escalate issues.
