Crynodeb
1. To take responsibility for the definition, documentation, and successful completion of all BHC IT and Digital projects, directing and counselling project team members, and advising users as necessary on all phases providing hands-on delivery when required. 2. Be responsible for parallel project management of number of complex Digital projects, typically to deliver a specific product or transformation via a multi-disciplinary team. 3. Determine business requirements and translating requirements into project and operational plans and deliverables. 4. To ensure that realistic project, quality, and risk plans are prepared and maintained for projects and sub-projects. 5. Accountable for planning, structuring, leading and executing projects. Responsible for managing the project teams. 6. Monitoring, updating and reporting against the schedule to BHC governance. 7. Determine, monitor, and review all portfolio decisions, including costs, budgets, resourcing requirements, risks and ensure that there are appropriate and effective governance arrangements, supported by comprehensive reporting. 8. Provide effective change leadership to the CTO/Digital function, taking appropriate action where performance deviates from agreed tolerances. This will include resource planning of specialist or expert resources across projects. 9. Advise and lead on the procurement of IT systems and supply contract negotiations as appropriate. 10. Lead on change management, including workshops with key stakeholders, effective communications and engagement and ensuring staff are brought along the change journey. Integrating new capabilities into the organisation in a way that is sensitive to and fully compatible with business operations, including planning around key business cycles. 11. Work with user management, reviewing proposed benefits and risks in the new/redesigned processes, confirming the acceptance criteria for these processes, and ensuring that they are properly documented in the business justification. 12. Identify opportunities for improvement to process and documentation, ensuring the change and demand function is always performing at its best and that Lessons Learned are captured and communicated. 13. To manage relevant project, programme and portfolio budgets of up to £3m.
