We are delighted to support a friendly and inclusive 2-form entry mainstream primary school in Hounslow, seeking an experienced Year 3 Teacher to join their team from the end of February. This is a full-time, ongoing position (5 days per week), offering a rewarding opportunity to lead a Year 3 class within a supportive and well-resourced school.

About the Role
As the Year 3 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing a mixed-ability class in line with the KS2 National Curriculum. You will ensure that all pupils make excellent progress academically, socially, and emotionally, and will maintain a structured, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons across all curriculum areas.
Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on pupil progress.
Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
Supporting the pastoral and social development of all pupils.
Collaborating effectively with the parallel Year 3 teacher, support staff, and phase leaders.
Contributing to staff meetings, planning sessions, and school initiatives.
Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and school matters.
Performing all other usual teacher responsibilities, including duties and safeguarding responsibilities.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Substantial experience teaching in UK primary schools, specifically Year 3/KS2.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Year 3 curriculum.
The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons for a diverse range of pupils.
A proactive, flexible, and professional approach.
Enhanced DBS clearance on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain).
Right to work in the UK.
