Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager for one of our clients. To lead a team in supporting children and young people with complex behavioural and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. This is a key leadership role within a residential setting, requiring a strong commitment to safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of a residential team and ensure high standards of care.
- Lead and support staff in delivering person-centred care plans for children with SEMH needs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including Ofsted and CQC requirements.
- Promote a therapeutic and nurturing environment that supports emotional development and resilience.
- Work closely with families, social workers, and external agencies to support care pathways.
- Manage budgets, staffing, and operational responsibilities.
Requirements:
- QCF Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in residential childcare, preferably in a leadership or management role.
- Proven experience working with children and young people with complex needs, including SEMH.
- Valid driving licence for travel between sites and community engagement.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and safeguarding best practice.
