Salary: £28,800 per annum + bonus (£13.80 per hour, paid weekly)
About the Role:
As a Sewing Machinist, you’ll join a team of over 35 dedicated professionals crafting high-quality domestic and contract furniture. Working on an industrial flatbed machine and occasionally using overlock machines, you will ensure the production of sofa and armchair covers meets client's standards.
Benefits:
Yearly bonus (£1500 last year)
Work on cruise ship and possibility to make £275 per day
Key Responsibilities
Sewing covers for sofas and armchairs
Operating a semi-automatic flatbed machine and occasionally an overlock machine.
Machinists sew complete products.
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
30-minute unpaid break and 2x15-minute paid break daily.
