Your new company
Successful independent West Midlands accountancy firm seeking to further grow their tax advisory team in a role which offers the successful individual the opportunity to work on a variety of tax advisory projects supporting a mixed client base.
Your new role
Building on your tax knowledge, you will work with individuals and businesses undertaking research and preparing reports to draft detailed tax advice for review by senior colleagues. You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of tax matters associated with both corporate and personal tax, including; restructuring, succession planning, inheritance tax, share schemes, FICs, trusts and residency matters and much more. You will learn from supportive and technically strong senior colleagues.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will possess 2-3 years' mixed tax experience gained within an accountancy practice. Individuals with either a corporate or personal tax background would also be considered. It would be great if you were partly or fully ATT qualified (or already progressing with CTA exams) however if you are AAT/ ACCA/ ACA partly or fully qualified and have appropriate tax experience, you may also be considered. You must be keen to develop your advisory skills, will have great written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues.
