Veterinary Surgeon – General Practice
Location: Worthing
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy, well-established branch clinic in Worthing, part of a proudly independent veterinary group known for high clinical standards and a supportive, collaborative culture.

The Role
You will work as a GP Veterinary Surgeon in a busy branch practice, delivering high-quality, personalised care to a loyal client base. You will be supported by a wider network of hospitals, out-of-hours services and an in-house referral team, ensuring continuity of care for patients and access to advanced clinical support when required.
The practice environment has been thoughtfully designed to create a calm, welcoming, “home-from-home” feel for both clients and team members.
The Ideal Candidate
MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
Minimum of 2–3 years’ practical experience in small animal general practice
Enthusiastic, motivated and committed to ongoing clinical development
A strong team player who demonstrates humility, empathy, professionalism and excellent communication skills
Applications are welcomed from vets with a general practice focus, including those interested in further skill development or certification.
Working Pattern
4-day working week
10-hour shifts (between 7:30am–7:30pm)
40 hours per week
1-hour lunch break
1 in 6 weekends and bank holidays (equal rota)
Two days off in lieu following worked weekends
Salary
£45,000 – £65,000+ per annum, depending on experience, certificates and Advanced Practitioner status.
