The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a production line leader for our well established client based in Erith.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and hard working team on a temporary to permanent basis.
Pay for this position is £13.50 per hour.
Hours of work may vary depending on workload. Standard hours are 06:00 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday. May be required to work some Fridays.
Duties will include:
- Lead and cooperate with your team to ensure daily production plans are completed
- Monitor and maintain productivity of production lines to maximise efficiency and report to your line manager
- Liaise with team leader to ensure deadlines/targets are being met
- Training and Induction of new line operatives, acting as mentor
- Ensure process control documents and all checks are carried out in a timely manner
- Ensure food safety and H&S are met and maintained within company guidelines
- Any other reasonable duties are required to meet the needs of the business
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ideally with a food production background
- Food Safety Training
- Health & Safety Training
- Manual Handling Training
