- Monitoring and recording students' progress, and contributing to the assessment and review of their individual education plans.
- Offering emotional and social support to students, promoting their well-being and self-esteem.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A recognised teaching assistant qualification or equivalent, such as a Level 3 NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or a relevant degree.
- Extensive experience working with children or young people with special educational needs, including a deep understanding of their diverse learning requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal development of children with special needs, and a commitment to inclusive and equitable practices.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond to the changing needs of students and the school environment.
- A valid enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.

In return, our client offers a supportive and inclusive working environment, opportunities for professional development, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.
