The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assist teachers with lesson activities and classroom routines
- Help manage behaviour and encourage positive engagement
- Provide emotional and pastoral support where required
- Contribute to a safe, structured learning environment
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Have experience working with children or young people (education, care, or youth work experience welcomed)
- Be patient, calm, and resilient
- Have an interest in SEMH, SEND, or alternative provision
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
- Be reliable, flexible, and committed
