About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Document Controller to support our UKCS Scotland portfolio on significant East of Scotland infrastructure and civils projects. You’ll be responsible for delivering structured and compliant document control across all project stages, ensuring information flows efficiently, accurately, and securely.

This role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced project environment, enjoys problem solving, and takes ownership of ensuring document management excellence across diverse project teams.

What you'll be doing

  • Implementing, managing, and monitoring CDE setups, workflows, and information management processes.
  • Ensuring all documentation adheres to ISO 19650 standards and aligns with project contractual requirements.
  • Controlling documentation throughout the full project lifecycle, maintaining accuracy and traceability.
  • Coordinating review workflows with project managers, site teams, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Delivering training and system guidance to internal teams and external partners.
  • Supporting project administrators within your assigned work area.
  • Identifying issues, providing feedback to project leadership, and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information and supporting a Zero Harm culture.

Who we're looking for

An experienced professional who brings:

  • Proven experience in document control within major projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650 naming conventions and BIM concepts.
  • Experience with CDE platforms and digital project information systems.
  • Excellent admin, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication abilities and confidence in stakeholder engagement.
  • A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy.
  • The ability to collaborate with wider project teams to achieve best business outcomes.
