Hotel Night Porter
Stirk House Hotel is a family-owned wedding, events and leisure hotel staffed with an amazing, hard-working, professional, supportive and friendly team.
At Stirk House Hotel, we believe that exceptional stays are built on the smallest details. Our mission is to create an environment where every guest feels valued, cared for, and at home. We pride ourselves on delivering service that blends affordable luxury with genuine hospitality, and team members are at the heart of that promise.
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Night Porter to join our team. You will be the reassuring presence overnight, ensuring our guests feel safe, supported, and well looked after.
What you will do
• Welcome and assist guests arriving late or leaving early
• Carry out regular security checks around the building
• Prepare function areas for wedding and events
• Serve customers with drinks from the bar
• Respond to guest enquiries and provide great customer service
• Complete nightly reports and prepare handover for the morning team
• Set up breakfast areas and support early morning operations
• Light cleaning tasks as required
• Carry out emergency First Aid and Evacuation procedures
Hours:
16-24 hours per week over 2-3 nights, 11pm-7am. Involves weekend working.
