KS1 Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately
These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different primary school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Ipswich and the surrounding areas, delivering high‑quality learning experiences across Key Stage 1.Duties as KS1 Teacher:

• Deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum following provided plans
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual learners
• Assess and record pupil progress when required
• Work collaboratively with school staff and contribute to wider school life during longer‑term placements

Ideal KS1 Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• Adaptable across year groups and teaching environments
• Positive, organised, and committed to high‑quality teaching
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
