- Deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum following provided plans
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual learners
- Assess and record pupil progress when required
- Work collaboratively with school staff and contribute to wider school life during longer‑term placements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Adaptable across year groups and teaching environments
- Positive, organised, and committed to high‑quality teaching
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
