Salaried GP Shawbury Medical Practice Information: Job summary We are looking for a salaried GP to join our practice, as a member of our acute care team. This role allows for a varied workload, without the administration that comes with a patient list. The benefits: Salary depending on experience 6 weeks annual leave (pro rata) 1 week study leave (pro rata) Admin time within working day BMA model contract NHS pension Main duties of the job Up to 4 - 6 sessions per week- can be worked flexibly over 2 or 3 days. Very manageable workload of: Workload does not exceed BMA recommended number of consultations. (including GP-to-book only slots for your own follow up) 15-minute appointments with catch up slots. Mainly same day acute work with some chronic disease. Wide variety of patient presentations. Manage own admin GP Partner mentor You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list. Job description Job responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: Managing a mix of telephone and face-to-face consultations. No patient list (unless wanted) so only own generated admin. Delivering mainly acute primary care consultations tailored to patient needs with some follow ups. Proactively supporting patients with complex or long-term conditions to help them stay well. Offering expert advice and guidance to support the wider MDT. Upholding high standards of evidence-based, patient-focused care. What Were Looking For: GMC-registered and listed on the GP Specialty Register (essential) Included on the Performers List (essential) Experienced in primary or urgent care, or newly qualified and eager to grow. Qualifications in family planning including coil and implant fitting (desirable not essential) Skilled communicators with the ability to engage at all levels. Organised and committed to providing high-quality care. What we can offer: Youll be part of our close knit practice team, working closely with the other GPs and two highly skilled practice nurses and Practice Based Clinical Pharmacist. Person Specification Qualifications Essential GMC registered and listed on the GP Specialty Register Included on the Performers List Experience Essential Experienced in primary or urgent care, or newly qualified and eager to grow. Skills Essential Skilled communicator with the ability to engage at all levels. Organised and committed to providing high-quality care. Confident with IT and clinical systems and quick to learn. Desirable Knowledge of Emis Web, Ardens and Accurx but this is can be taught if unfamiliar. Qualifications in Contraception including Coil and Implant fitting and removal.
