Head of Year - Immediate Start
A secondary school is seeking a committed and proactive Head of Year to join the team as soon as possible. This position is initially to provide cover, with strong potential to continue long‑term after the next half term.
Role Details
- Full‑time position
- Monday to Friday, 8:15-15:30
- Responsible for the pastoral care, behaviour, attendance and overall wellbeing of a designated year group
- Working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff and support teams to maintain high standards across the school
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a pastoral leadership role within a school setting
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training
- A calm, confident and supportive approach when working with students and families
