We are looking to recruit enthusiastic Apprentice Health Care Assistants to join our Trust to assist qualified nurses in the delivery of excellent patient care at either Queen’s Hospital, Romford or King George Hospital, Goodmayes.

The post involves shift work, and includes day shifts, night shifts, weekends and bank holidays.

You will haveexcellent communication skills, good writing skills and a good understanding of the English language.

You will be assisting with patient hygiene needs, helping patients meet their nutritional requirements and all other patient needs that arise.

Alongside the role you will also be completing the Level 3 Senior Health Care Support Worker apprenticeship. If you already hold this or another healthcare qualification at Level 3 or above, then you are not eligible to apply.

To be eligible for an Apprenticeship you must meet the following criteria:

- Be 18 years old or over

- Have the right to work in the UK – with no restrictions

- Have been permanently resident in the UK for the past 3 years

PLEASE NOTE:The post is initially offered as a fixed term contract; but will become permanent on successful completion of the apprenticeship.
