Summary
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bromsgrove to assist with the appointment of an Activity Co-ordinator, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £12.21 - £15.37 per hour
Hours per Week: 18.00
Summary:
Activity Co-ordinator will play a key role in promoting wellbeing, social engagement, and a strong sense of community within the care home. The role focuses on providing tenants with meaningful opportunities for socialisation, companionship, and support—ranging from informal conversation and presence to structured activities and longer-term one-to-one befriending relationships.
Responsibilities
Manage and support the recruitment of volunteers to ensure positive outcomes for tenants, relatives, and staff
Support volunteers in delivering activities and organising outings for tenants
Process, maintain, and update all relevant paperwork
Maintain filing systems and databases related to volunteers, initiatives, and recruitment
Assist with the coordination of volunteer events, including launch events and graduation celebrations
Support consultation and feedback events, engaging with tenants to understand their activity preferences
Essentials:
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Confidence engaging with tenants, volunteers, and staff
Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing
