High Level Teaching Assistant – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately
These flexible opportunities are ideal for High Level Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Enfield and the surrounding areas, delivering high‑quality learning support and leading whole‑class sessions where required.Duties as High Level Teaching Assistant:

• Lead whole‑class learning during teacher PPA time
• Support pupils with learning across a range of subjects
• Deliver planned lessons and learning activities independently
• Provide small‑group interventions to support identified needs
• Assist with planning, preparation, and resource delivery
• Implement behaviour management strategies effectively
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support consistent learning
• Contribute to wider school activities during longer‑term placements

Ideal High Level Teaching Assistant:

• HLTA qualification or extensive experience working at HLTA level
• Confident in delivering whole‑class teaching independently
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Effective behaviour management abilities
• Adaptable across different year groups and curriculum areas
• Professional, proactive, and supportive of whole‑school aims
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
• Willingness to undertake relevant professional development
