Qualifications Current HCPC, RCCP or AHCS registration Educated to Degree Level Education or equivalent Holds professional accreditation appropriate to role – BHRS Experience Evidence of continuing professional development Audit & Standard setting Specialist knowledge in field of practice Current issues in healthcare In-depth experience and knowledge of highly specialist investigations and techniques within Cardiac devices Willing to undergo training as necessary Skills & Abilities Good hand/eye co-ordination skills and manual dexterity. Excellent written and verbal skills. IT skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Able to manoeuvre often heavy/cumbersome medical equipment. Able to provide physical support in assisting patients to transfer, with occasional requirement to manoeuvre patients’ full body weight in emergency situations. Able to work in subdued lighting for prolonged periods. Able to perform fine repetitive movements, often under physically demanding conditions including wearing a lead for prolonged periods of time Be part of the On-Call Team
