Crynodeb

Auto Electrix Ferndown Ltd** is growing, and we’re looking for a capable **Vehicle Technician** who enjoys modern vehicles, advanced electrical systems, and proper diagnostic work. If you take pride in fault-finding and fixing issues correctly (not guessing), you’ll fit in well here.

### The role (what you’ll be doing)
You will be working across **all makes and models**, carrying out a mix of workshop-based diagnostic and electrical repair work, including:

- Vehicle diagnostics and structured fault-finding
- Electrical repairs (wiring, components, modules, circuits)
- Strip, test, repair and refit of electrical items and related systems
- Working with modern vehicle systems (CAN networks, control modules, sensors, etc.)
- Supporting calibration/advanced systems work where required

What we’re looking for
We’re after someone confident, methodical, and interested in developing further in modern vehicle technology:

**Essential**
- Solid experience as a Vehicle Technician (ideally time-served)
- Confidence with vehicle electrics and electrical fault-finding
- Strong diagnostic approach and attention to detail

**Beneficial (not essential)**
- ADAS knowledge/experience
- Programming/coding experience
- OEM/dealer-level diagnostic training
- Experience with dealer-level diagnostic equipment and modern systems

What you’ll get
We want this to be a role people stay in and build a career around:

- **Good working hours**
- **No weekends**
- **Ongoing training and development** (including modern systems and diagnostics)
- Varied, interesting work—**proper diagnostic jobs**, not repetitive servicing
- A professional environment where quality work and technical ability are valued
To apply
Send a short CV and a brief note on your experience (especially diagnostics/electrical work and any training) and we’ll arrange a confidential chat.
