Crynodeb

We are looking for a Baker to assist our morning baking team with production of fresh cream, morning goods, savouries, some bread products and confectionary. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of Wales’s longest established bakeries, 128 years this year.

As a baker you must be able to work independently ensuring the consistency and quality of our bakes. The role allows for a large degree of autonomy and flexibility using the latest bakery machinery to help continue and push forward this thriving business.

As a baker you will need:
• At least 1 years’ experience within the industry, formal qualifications preferred but not essential.
• To be able to work efficiently and effectively.
• An attention to detail and a desire for quality.
• To be physically fit
• The ability to manage your own time and routine whilst working

The position will involve:
• Working independently, as part of the morning team, to produce our confectionery and savoury lines.
• Working in a clean, tidy and safe manner.
• 35 hours a week over 5 days with some flexibility in start time (Currently 5am).
• We operate a rolling day off, so every 6 weeks you will get a long weekend.

Pay: Starting from £13.13 per hour dependant on experience, plus pension contributions, free food whilst in work and staff discount.

The ideal candidate will also hold a driving licence and aged over 21 years (for insurance purposes) to be able to cover for delivery drivers as required.

For the right candidate this role will allow them to play a pivotal role within the business with the flexibility to shape and mould their own working methods whilst being able to maintain a great work life balance. If you are interested in working for a company eager to embrace the future whilst maintaining the quality of the past this role could be for you!

Applicants must be available currently in the UK for interview and must hold the relevant 'right to work' paperwork or visa.
