Summary

A high profile specialist Insurer going through a significant period of growth regionally has a new opportunity to join their Birmingham branch as a Cyber Underwriter this could be either at Senior Underwriter level or Underwriter level depending on your level of experience.

As a Cyber Underwriter you will be a pivotal part of the cyber offering for the Birmingham region focusing on new business across the SME and mid market sectors. You will be an external point of contact forging strong relationships with Brokers.

You will work closely with the Cyber Underwriting Manager to drive and develop opportunities within strategy. You will assist with the development of underwriting strategy and portfolio management to achieve underwriting profitability.

As a Senior Underwriter you will have a responsibility to mentor and develop junior Underwriters providing coaching and support where required.

You will represent the business on an external basis promoting the company and attending regular cyber focused events.
To be considered you will ideally have extensive cyber underwriting experience if you are aiming for Senior Underwriter level.

Candidates looking to step up to this level will also be considered. Candidates with professional indemnity underwriting experience may also be considered if you have a keen interest in cyber insurance and the desire to progress further within that area.
