Location: Elizabeth Barracks, Pirbright, Surrey, GU24 0QQ Pay rate: £14.88 per hour Hours: Permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Mon – Fri for 3 weeks, and 1 in 4 weekends) Shifts: Combination of early and late shifts. We’re currently seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our team at Elizabeth Barracks in Pirbright. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your culinary career within a global leader in hospitality and catering services.
As a Chef, you’ll play a key role in food preparation and production, ensuring high standards and minimal waste. You’ll also support and mentor new team members, helping them learn kitchen procedures and standards.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, or dinner services.
- Deliver silver service-level catering for functions and hospitality events.
- Follow recipe cards and maintain food safety standards.
- Assist with stock checks, food orders, and kitchen records.
- Monitor and record temperatures of kitchen equipment.
- Participate in daily and weekly deep cleaning routines.
- Support and coach new team members.
What We’re Looking For:
- Relevant culinary qualifications (706/1 or 706/2 or equivalent)
- A confident team player with effective communication skills.
- Flexible and innovative approach to work.
- Ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks.
- Must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK.
