A vibrant, inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated Year 6 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive Upper KS2 team immediately after the February half term.

The Role


You will be supporting pupils in Year 6 with a range of additional needs, including:

  • Autism and social‑communication needs
  • ADHD and attention regulation
  • Learning delays and working‑memory support
  • Emotional regulation and confidence building
  • Preparation for the move to secondary school
  • The role includes in‑class support, small‑group intervention, and some 1:1 work, depending on pupil needs.

The School Is Looking For

  • Experience supporting KS2 or Upper KS2 pupils
  • Strong behaviour‑management skills and a calm, reassuring approach
  • Ability to deliver targeted interventions
  • Someone proactive, reliable and able to work closely with the class teacher & SENCO
  • A passion for helping children thrive academically and emotionally
