An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Sales Exectuive at our Holiday Inn at Bristol city centre. You will have the opportunity to join a developing employer who has the passion and drive to deliver first class service and a quality employee experience.
As our Sales Exectuive you will be assisting our Sales manager to develop and set revenue sales and marketing strategies for the hotel to ensure plans are implemented, results are monitored, and sales goals are achieved. Regularly sell our hotel rooms, meeting rooms, and food and beverage through direct client contacts.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities for rooms, meetings, conferences, and events
- Maintain and grow relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and local businesses
- Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and rate agreements
- Conduct hotel site inspections and client show-rounds
- Achieve and exceed individual and departmental sales targets
- Assist in developing and implementing the hotel’s marketing and promotional strategies
- Manage and update content for social media platforms, website, and online listings
- Coordinate promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and partnership
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
- Support brand consistency across all marketing materials
- Coordinate and manage events from enquiry to execution, including conferences, weddings, meetings, and social events
- Liaise with clients to understand requirements and ensure seamless event delivery
- Work closely with operations, food & beverage, and external suppliers
- Prepare event orders, schedules, and post-event follow-ups
- Ensure events meet quality standards and client expectations
- Maintain accurate records of sales leads, client interactions, and event details
- Prepare regular sales and performance reports
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards

Job Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in hotel sales, marketing, or events marketing
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Customer-focused with a proactive and results-driven mindset
- Proficient in MS Office and hotel sales systems (CRM, PMS preferred)
