We are looking to recruit Exam Invigilators to join our dedicated invigilating team to oversee our examination process at key times of the academic year.
This position reports to the Examinations Officer and to succeed in this role, you will be a reliable, flexible team player, readily available during the main exam periods. Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills are also key, as is the ability to offer a confident and reassuring presence to all candidates in a variety of situations. You will have excellent time keeping and administrative skills and be able to provide a professional service in order to ensure a consistent and calm environment is maintained at all times enabling students to perform at their best.
The main duties include:
· Conducting examinations in accordance with all regulations and instructions· Having a key role in upholding the integrity and security of the examination/assessment processFurther details can be found in the attached Job DescriptionThis will be a Casual contract which would include attending team meetings and training events, such as First Aid. You would need to be available to start by 8.55am or 1.15pm on the days of exams but hours will be advised dependent on Invigilator availability and School requirements.
No prior experience of invigilation is required as full training will be provided by the Exams Officer, however some experience of working with children would be advantageous.
