Are you a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker looking for a rewarding opportunity in Hinckley? Social Care and Education is seeking skilled and reliable individuals to join our team in a respite and supported living setting, supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs, Physical Disabilities, and Sensory Impairments. Whether you’re looking for part-time or full-time hours, we offer flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle.
Your Role:
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live independently, safely, and with dignity. You’ll be part of a person-centred environment where your contribution genuinely matters. Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing daily support with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Promoting independence, confidence, and well-being
• Supporting individuals in accessing the community and engaging in meaningful activities
• Following individualised care plans and behaviour support strategies
• Assisting with medication administration and accurate record-keeping
• Building trusting relationships through consistency, empathy, and professionalism
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities, or complex care needs
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to varying needs and routines
• Strong communication and observational skills
• A proactive, empathetic, and person-centred approach to care
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including sleep-ins and lone working
• An Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service is ideal)
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
• Eligibility to work in the UK (please note we do not offer sponsorship)
