Crynodeb
Continuing Professional Development and Continuing Medical Education: There is an active Post Graduate Medical Education programme based in the Postgraduate Centre. There is a regular programme of tutorials, seminars, lunchtime and evening meetings. A full range of library services is available at the hospital and through that library from the Regional Library Service. Account will be taken by the Trust of emerging recommendations for Continuing Medical Education and Continuous Professional Development by the relevant Royal Colleges and other professional bodies. While this post is not formally recognised as a training post we would expect post holders to gain similar experience to those on recognised training posts and use this as a springboard to achieve a competitive post in the future.
