About the role
Are you looking for a new role where you can make a real impact? This role will support the organisations senior managers and delivery teams on the identification, development and securing of new business and funding opportunities.
The Business Development Manager will lead business development activity that supports the growth of the organisations work, particularly in priority areas focused on decarbonising homes. You will lead the development, writing and submission of compelling tenders and funding bids that are commercially sound, technically informed and aligned with the organisations strategic priorities. Another focus will be identifying and securing new funding and partnership opportunities that enable innovation and long-term growth across the organisations programmes.
You'll work collaboratively across the organisation to embed good business development practice and manage staff effectively to achieve high-quality outcomes. You will have at least 5 years experience in business development with proven expertise securing funding for projects and services.
