Children and Young People Service are recruiting to Workplace Personal Assistant position. The post holder will enable a disabled member to do their job more effectively by providing assistance with workplace task and personal care. Assisting with correct usage of IT software packages, preparing, and ensuring IT personal equipment is appropriately placed for member of staff to easily access. Assisting with opening of applications to enable information to be printed, collecting printing from MFD and placing ready for reading and inputting, monitoring of information input ensuring it is accurate whilst remaining in the background advocating independence, self-determination and self-direction of assistance for the member of staff. Attend training, which will allow you to efficiently train the member of staff how to use Hull City Council’s IT applications. Supporting urgent request for personal care when personal care assistants are not in attendance
Experience of working with disabled individuals and working in an office administrative environment is essential as it using Microsoft office systems, you must be able to maintain confidentiality working within GDP Regulations.
