Summary

We are looking for a Senior Social Worker to join a Children's Intervention and Planning Team.

Do not apply if you do not have a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years equivalent post qualified experience in permanent contract/s.

About the team

This team is responsible for dealing with the most vulnerable and in need of protection children in the borough involving CIN, CP and court cases. The team work hard to effectively and efficiently make decisions on cases at all stages of crisis intervention to ensure the absolute best outcomes are achieved . Working proactively, with a child-centred approach to each case is vital to ensure successful case progression.

About you

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a children's frontline safeguarding Social Work team as well as key experience in initial court proceedings. A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contracts is essential in order to be considered for this position. A valid UK driving licence and vehicle are not essential but desirable for this role.
