Data Analysis and Visualisation
You will analyse multiple datasets sourced from a wide range of platforms, applying effective data visualisation techniques to generate meaningful and informative insights. This involves interpreting complex data and presenting it in a way that supports decision-making and delivers real value to stakeholders.
Information Presentation
Information will be communicated through various mediums, including dashboards, monthly reporting packs, presentations, and scheduled updates. The ability to tailor the format and content to suit the needs of different audiences is essential.
Project Flexibility and Management
You will be expected to work flexibly across several projects, often dealing with ambiguity, changing requirements, and diverse outputs. Adapting to shifting priorities and ensuring high-quality delivery across all assignments is a key aspect of the role.
Consultancy and Expert Advice
Providing expert advice and consultancy is a central responsibility, particularly in the areas of Management Information, data analytics, evidence gathering, and data visualisation. Your expertise will guide stakeholders and help them understand and leverage data effectively.
Continuous Improvement
You will drive forward ongoing improvements in the quality of datasets, reporting mechanisms, and dashboard functionality. Familiarity with data storage and warehousing will be beneficial in enhancing data infrastructure and supporting these improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement and Requirements Gathering
Working in partnership with stakeholders, you will scope out data requirements and design intuitive dashboards to address growing demands. Effective scoping, planning, and prioritisation against available resources are crucial to meeting organisational objectives.
Governance and Compliance
Maintaining robust governance processes and documentation is essential. You will ensure strict adherence to GDPR and security guidelines, safeguarding data integrity and confidentiality at every stage of the reporting process.
Collaboration Across PAI
Collaboration with other areas of expertise within the People Analytics and Insight (PAI) directorate is a key element of the role. Working closely with colleagues ensures knowledge sharing and the delivery of integrated solutions.
Deputising Responsibilities
On occasion, you will be required to deputise for a Senior Manager, taking on additional responsibilities and supporting leadership within the team as needed.
