Crynodeb
Clinical Dutie Provide highquality care to patients across all cardiology inpatient areas (CCU, cardiology ward, heart assessment centre, cardiac day ward, cardiogeriatrics ward). Participate in a 1 in 13 oncall rota, including long days, weekends, and nights. Ensure timely attendance to all direct clinical care activities. Involve patients in decisions about their care and respond appropriately to their views. Work under continuous senior supervision, including 24/7 onsite cardiology and medical SpRs. Procedural Skills Development You will be supported to develop the following: Central venous catheterisation Peripheral arterial cannulation in haemodynamically compromised patients Ultrasoundguided vascular access Echocardiography (with opportunity for FEEL accreditation or BSE logbook development depending on prior experience) Teaching Responsibilities Provide undergraduate and postgraduate teaching within the department.
