The Cleaning Assistant will work with the Team Leader Operations in the delivery of a common, efficient, and cost-effective cleaning service and to achieve and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the College’s buildings. The successful candidate will clean as appropriate all surfaces, furnishings and fittings using the specified equipment and cleaning products.

You must have a basic understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act and have experience of providing cleaning services within a non-domestic environment. You should also have experience of using a variety of cleaning/equipment and products and be able to work unsupervised. The successful candidate should also have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, staff, students, and members of the public.
