About the role:
As a Temporary Stores Operative you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our operations. Each role is slightly different. Responsibilities will include:
Kitter:
ensuring the correct materials are picked and fulfilled to other departments
receiving and unpacking shipments
waregouse organisation
inventory management - storing and labelling materials correctly
Waterspider:
ensuring efficient and proper stocks replenishment throughout the factory
ensure production flow is uninterrupted
waste management and transportation
transport of materials, products as required
other tasks as designated by leaders
Repacker:
repackage materials and stocks for transport to other departments
ensuring containers and requirements/requests are packed as needed
inspect for defects and address issues
inventory tasks
labelling and storage management
What We’re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
Experience in warehousing or stores positions
Attention to detail - accuracy!
Excellent organisation skills
Time management skills - efficiency!
Maintain clean and organised work areas
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability lift and move materials / containers/ boxes of varying sizes and weights according to Health & Safety Protocols
IT Proficiency
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently
